Twitter

I have to say that I'm not interested in Twitter in the least. It's just another thing that you have to log on to inorder to use - and really, who cares what "so and so" is doing, thinking, seeing tasting, driving etc. Not me!!!!

Library Thing

Some people have way too much time on their hands - cataloguing all the books they have read, and reviewing them!!! I can't even remember all the books I've read!

The site is handy if you want to look up a book and get an idea as to whether it is any good, or not, and some ideas for other books that you might enjoy, but that is pretty much the only time I would look at it.

Online Productivity tools

I can see the benefit of these calendars if you spend your whole day working on a computer, but for someone like me, it's more convenient to walk past the calendar hanging on the wall in my kitchen, than to log on to the computer. Besides, I can still use my kitchen calendar even when the power goes out!!!

Flickr and Youtube

I'll probably take a closer look at Flickr at home, especially as it uses Picnic to edit photos. You Tube is fun to look at every once in a while - lot of good, old British Comedy stuff on there that is hard to find other places.
